How To Never Miss A Workout Again (And get results)
Working out is only a part of getting results – but it really is the “cornerstone” to success.
You see, most of the magic happens with your diet – there’s no secret there.
The old saying it’s 80% Diet is 100% True (if not more!)
But if you miss your workouts you won’t…..
- Elevate your metabolism
- Keep momentum with your efforts
- Shape & tone your body
Too often we focus on JUST diet or JUST working out
That often fails and is one of the reasons why following through is not easy.
The honest truth is that we must workout, not only for the benefits from the workout itself (caloric expenditure, etc.) but MOST importantly what it does for our mindset.
There’s 3 main benefits:
#1 Subconscious Habit
Once we develop the habit of being devout to exercising, investing the time, effort and money – our odds of a lifetime of healthy, fitness and wellness increase.
Habits aren’t “get skinny quick” efforts – they’re a part of our lifestyle.
#2 Mental Clarity & De-stressing
The scientific benefits that come from exercising for mental clarity, lower stress levels, etc. is a LONG list that should give everyone a benefit in any walk of life.
Giving yourself the time you deserve everyday for exercise can make you far more productive for the time you already have work commitments or anything else in your day.
We believe at times that we don’t or wont have the time for exercise but in all reality we could be exhausted and burnt out from a mid-day slump where our productivity level drops and we spend more time being less efficient at what we do.
Why not stop for 20-30 mins, give yourself the ONLY natural drug that boosts productivity and check the box off for today?
Measurable accomplishment and progress does wonders for our mentality and attitude.
Checking off “exercise” on the list for your day is a GREAT way to start your day.
The most challenging things on our list to-do for the day (often the most important) can be pushed back into “never” – which is what I find to happen with exercise.
Get it done, and get it done first thing!
So HOW Do You Never Miss A Workout Again?
Do it first – this goes off my last point. Commit to exercise FIRST thing in the morning – be it just 20-30 minutes of jumping jacks & bodyweight squats.
Keep It Short – You can plan and create 20-30 mins for yourself in a day – even 15 if you really believe you have no option. Look at your day and WHEN you have 15-30 minutes to kill and DO IT!
Keep it simple – don’t overcomplicate all your workouts. Yes, some will need progressive weights, resistance etc. but for a lot of your goals, especially with fat loss, it’s about heart rate which does not necessarily require “tools”. For these workouts have a backup bodyweight plan!
Commit to it – you will ONLY be successful when you commit to reaching your goals. If you are “half committed” and will only follow your diet and workouts a few days of the week, you may only get “half the result” if any.
Create an accountability system – this is best done with having a personal coach or group of like-minded women all working towards a similar goal. This is what really gets results in the long term, such as in a high success rate and retention program like ours at Action Fitness Women’s Only Fitness Center.
